“The first time I listened to Aaron Cadwaladr’s song Shape Changing Sky I was hooked and couldn’t wait for the CD.  It did not disappoint.  It’s full of resonant songs that pull me in – smart lyrics and memorable tunes. I’ve played songs from Wade Through the Dark numerous times on my CBC Radio show, and predict a bright future for this young gifted artist” – Sheryl Mackay, CBC Radio Vancouver, NXNW

“Juno nominated for his work with kid’s rockers the Kerplunks, Cadwaladr proves himself more than able to write mature and meaningful material for fans of finely arranged alternative roots music. As expansive as an ocean view from Vancouver Island.” Stuart Derdeyn, The Province (Vancouver)

Check out this concert review for the Wade Through The Dark Release Party from Ronatron.net.

“Lyrically, I was immediately captivated when I heard Aaron’s poignant voice sing ‘lock your defense in a jar, give yourself a little time to kill’ in Engage the Air…the crowd may have ranged from infant to elder, though the satisfactions derived from the evening’s soundscapes were a common ground indeed…” Steve Roland, Ronatron.net

The Aaron Cadwaladr Band is back from our tour of BC and it was a huge success! We played lots of new venues and made plenty of new friends!

Thanks to all of the fans along the way who showed us support and we hope that we can come to your town again soon. A big thanks also to the venues who graciously hosted us and the friends who put us up when we were weary from the road.

We will be playing a homecoming show this Sunday, November 22 at The Backstage Lounge on Granville Island. Starting at 8 PM will be local singer/songwriter Sky Brown followed by Aaron and the boys around 8:45. Tickets are $5 at the door. See you there!
